Account / Subscription

Account & Subscriptions

Before creating an account, updating your configuration or switching devices, check your account and subscription in the user dashboard.

What do I need to create a VPNMJ account?

No email address required—just choose a username and password. Open the registration page in the user dashboard, choose a memorable username and a unique password, then follow the on-screen instructions. You’ll use the username to sign in, so keep a record of it along with your password. After creating your account, you can view plans and client downloads. Get your subscription and client through the user dashboard; configuration links aren’t provided on marketing pages.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it?

Sign in to the user dashboard and check your current subscription under Account Overview. Copy or import the configuration using the option provided there. If the client still shows outdated routes, open its subscription settings, update or refresh the subscription, then check the route list again. Menu names vary by client; if you can’t find the option, consult the client guide in the dashboard. Don’t post your subscription link in public forums—it contains your personal subscription configuration.

Do I need to buy another subscription when I switch devices?

You don’t need to buy another subscription just because you’ve switched devices, as long as your subscription is still active. VPNMJ allows unlimited devices to be connected at the same time. Sign in to the user dashboard on your new device, get the compatible client and your current subscription, then import it as instructed by the client. Supported platforms: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. If you’re no longer using your old device, remove the subscription configuration from its client so your personal settings aren’t left on a device you’ve handed over.

What should I do if I forget my password or can’t sign in?

First, check that your username matches the one you saved when creating your account, then verify your keyboard layout, capitalization and any extra spaces in your password. If the dashboard offers an account recovery option, follow the methods shown there. Since registration doesn’t require an email address, email recovery may not be available. If you still can’t access your account, use the support ticket option in the user dashboard and describe the message you see and the steps you’ve tried. Don’t submit your password or full subscription configuration on public pages.

Client / Troubleshooting

Connections & Troubleshooting

Check the client status, system permissions and the app separately to narrow down the cause more quickly.

The client says I’m connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?

First, make sure the client is using an active route from your subscription—not just that the connection switch is on. Try another website to determine whether the issue affects one site or your connection generally. Then check whether the system proxy is enabled or the client has permission to manage network traffic. If you just updated your subscription, disconnect and reconnect to apply the new configuration. You can also try another route in the same region. Note the affected site, selected region and any client messages so you can include them in a support ticket.

Why isn’t a particular app using the proxy?

A common cause is split tunneling: a rule may be sending the app’s traffic over a direct connection. The client may also lack the required system network permissions. Check the client’s current mode and which rules apply, then try a proxy mode that works for the app and restart it before testing again. Some apps cache network connections or use their own connection methods, so changes may not take effect right away. Change one setting at a time to identify what’s affecting the result.

What should I do if no routes appear after importing my subscription?

Check your subscription status in the user dashboard, then make sure you imported it using the method provided there. If the client shows the subscription but no routes, update the subscription manually and check for parsing or network errors. When copying the configuration, avoid adding extra spaces, and don’t use the dashboard page address in your browser as the subscription URL. If the issue persists, save the error message and use the dashboard’s support ticket option to share your client platform and import steps.

How can I troubleshoot frequent disconnections?

First, check whether your local network is stable. Then see if disconnections affect only one route or one app. Try another route under the same network conditions. If all routes disconnect, check your system’s power-saving settings, the client’s network permissions and whether other network tools are also managing the connection. After switching networks, let the client establish a fresh connection. When submitting a ticket, describe when the disconnections happen, your device platform and any client error messages. This is more helpful than simply saying the service isn’t working.

Region / Route

Speed & Routes

Match the target service’s region first, then compare how different routes in that region perform.

Which route should I try when things slow down during peak hours?

Start by identifying the exit region required by your target service, then test different routes in that region rather than judging by route names alone. Nearby regions such as Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore may be options for cross-border access. If you need content for a specific region, choose a route that matches the service’s region. IEPL dedicated lines, relay routes and direct routes take different paths; performance also depends on your local network and the target service. After switching, repeat the same action in the same app to compare routes under consistent conditions.

What’s the difference between IEPL dedicated lines, relay routes and direct routes?

These terms describe how a route is structured, not how well it’s guaranteed to work with a particular app. IEPL dedicated lines use a dedicated cross-border transmission path. Relay routes pass through an intermediate point before reaching the destination region, while direct routes use a direct connection path. When choosing a route, first check that its exit region suits your needs, then compare how available routes actually perform. If a route doesn’t work well with a particular app, trying another route type in the same region is usually more informative than reconnecting to the same one repeatedly.

How do route regions relate to the regions supported by a service?

A route’s region indicates the connection’s exit location; it doesn’t guarantee that a website will provide content for that region. For region-restricted services, check which regions the service supports and choose a matching exit location. For everyday browsing, start with a nearby region that gives you a stable connection. VPNMJ covers 100+ countries with 180+ routes. The options available to you are listed in the client after updating your subscription. The service provider’s account settings and content licensing may also affect what you can access.

My connection is slower. Could my subscription be out of date?

A slow connection isn’t necessarily caused by an outdated subscription. Your local network, route, the target website’s response and the app’s download method can all affect performance. First check that routes are still visible in the client and confirm your selected region. Then refresh the subscription, try other routes in the same region and test with the same task. If only one website is slow, check whether it works normally on a regular connection. Avoid changing your network, route and client settings all at once, or it’ll be hard to tell what made a difference.

Plans / Orders

Billing & Refunds

Monthly plan data resets on your activation date. Data packs never expire and remain available until used. Check the product type before placing an order.

What monthly plans are available, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the start of each calendar month. Choose a plan based on the apps you use and your typical data usage, and check the plan details and subscription status in the user dashboard. If your usage varies over time, compare monthly plans with data packs so you don’t confuse their reset rules.

Do data packs expire? How are they different from monthly plans?

Data packs never expire; use the data whenever you need it. Options: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Unlike monthly plans, which reset data each month on your activation date, data packs may suit you better if you prefer a different usage schedule. Before purchasing, check the product name, data allowance and your current subscription status in the user dashboard. A data pack doesn’t replenish monthly. Check your remaining balance in the dashboard.

How is a mid-cycle upgrade to a monthly plan calculated?

When you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated based on the days remaining. Before proceeding, check your current plan and the upgrade details shown in the user dashboard. Confirm the new plan you’ve selected and the billing information displayed before continuing. Don’t assume the amount due is simply the difference between the full monthly prices, or that an upgrade starts a new full billing cycle. The order details shown in the dashboard before submission are authoritative. If you have questions, contact support through a dashboard ticket before proceeding.

How do I request a refund, and which payment methods are available?

VPNMJ offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user dashboard and submit your order details and refund request through the support ticket option. Watch for a reply to your ticket. You can also review the refund terms in our Terms of Service. Payment methods include Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT; check the dashboard at checkout for the options available to you. Don’t post order receipts or account passwords in public comments. For order-related questions, contact support through a dashboard ticket.
